    This Ayyappa temple was once owned ( Ooraalan ) by Puthussery Nambyathiri ( Puthussery Madom ,Kadakkaavoor)as per old records.The adjacent place is even today called as nambyaathi vila. They were the ooraalan of Four more temples in that locality
